Moving forward to summer of 1991, 2383 worked a Wednesdays-only circular Heritage tour from Highfields and Clacton to St Osyth, Great Bentley, Dedham, Manningtree, Mistley and Walton (£4.50 for three and a half hours) which was repeated in 1992

Round Britain Charity Tour in aid of the Princess Diana Memorial Trust – covering 1,639 miles in England, Wales and Scotland

An even more adventurous trip was undertaken in May 2003, crossing to the Continent and reaching the Czech Republic for the Bohemia International Bus Show and raising money for Cancer Research and the Czech Republic Flood Relief Fund

In 2010 First Group decided to disband their Heritage Fleet and 2383 (or 90230, as she had become under the Sema numbering system) was bought for preservation by John Day, she resided for some time at Yeldham Transport Museum before that had to be vacated

2383 changed hands again on 29th January 2022 and left Essex, on a slow journey to Norfolk having been acquired by us and our friend Richard Dixon, with the intention of continued preservation and improvement

2383 undertakes a trip from Norwich to Surbiton to undergo an exciting transformation for a secret mission! Driven by owners Ivan, John and Richard at 29mph the journey took around 8 hours allowing for breaks!

5th June 2022 now idetified as CRNA T10N 2383 undertakes what is arguably her most high profile engagement; a starring role in Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee Pageant carrying stars from the 1950s (and later), including Cliff Richard, the Mills sisters, Anita Harris, Gloria Hunniford, Lesley Garrett, Bonnie Langford, Wayne Sleep, Katherine Jenkins, Paul Gambaccini and Chris Eubank
